Shingle Rejuvenation

A new roof's performance — without the new-roof price.

Our bio-based treatment soaks into dried-out asphalt shingles, restoring the flexibility and water resistance they had when they were new. 5–15 more years, roughly 85% cheaper than replacing.
What it actually does

Renewing shingles from the inside out

90% bio-based oil

A plant-derived treatment — not a paint or a coating that peels. It penetrates the shingle itself.

Restores flexibility

Replaces the oils asphalt loses to sun and cold, so shingles stop drying, curling, and cracking.

Re-bonds granules

Locks loose protective granules back down — better wind and hail resistance, fewer bare spots.

Repeatable

Unlike a replacement, treatment can be reapplied every few years to keep extending the roof's life.

Is your roof a candidate?

Rejuvenation is the right call when your roof is aging — not failing

A great fit if…

  • Your roof is roughly 8–20 years old
  • You're seeing granules in the gutters or downspouts
  • Shingles are drying out or lightly curling but still intact
  • The decking underneath is sound and there are no active leaks

Not the right fit if…

  • Shingles are broken, missing, or actively leaking
  • The roof deck is rotted or sagging
  • The roof is already near the very end of its life

If your roof is past saving, we'll tell you — and we'll quote you a proper replacement instead.

Rejuvenate or Replace? Do the Math.

A rejuvenation treatment renews the shingles you already have for a fraction of the price — and you can repeat it. Here is what that looks like on a typical Winnipeg home.

Estimates based on typical 2025–2026 Winnipeg-area pricing and average roof complexity. Cost-per-year figures assume roughly 10 years added by rejuvenation (within the typical 5–15 year range) and a ~20-year lifespan for a new asphalt roof in the prairie climate. Your quote depends on roof size, pitch, and condition — every assessment is free.

The process

Most homes: done in a single day

Free assessment

We climb up, inspect your shingles, and confirm treatment is the right move before you commit to anything.

Prep the surface

We clear debris and moss so the treatment can soak in evenly across every shingle.

Apply the treatment

The bio-based oil is sprayed across the entire roof — quiet, clean, and usually finished the same day.

Final walk-through

We check coverage, tidy up, and leave your roof renewed. Curling shingles often lie flat within 24 hours.

Common questions

What homeowners ask us

A single treatment typically adds 5–15 years of shingle life, depending on the age and condition of your roof. Because it can be reapplied, many homeowners keep re-treating to extend the roof much further.
Yes. Unlike a replacement, rejuvenation can be reapplied every few years. Each treatment tops up the oils the shingles lose to weather, which is how a 20-year roof can keep going well past 30.
The treatment restores shingles closer to their original colour and can darken them slightly right after application. It evens out over the following weeks.
The treatment is roughly 90% bio-based and derived from plant oils. We take normal care around plantings during application, and everything is safe to be around once it has soaked in.
Then we'll say so. If treatment won't give you real value, we'll recommend repair or replacement instead — we'd rather keep your trust than sell you something that won't help.
Within 24 hours our curling shingles were already flat again. The service saves us money and is environmentally supportive.
